BJP to observe nine hour fast in Pondy

Puducherry, Aug 18 (UNI) The Bharathiya Janata Party (BJP) will observe a nine hour fast on August 20 here.

In a release here today, BJP State President Visweswaran said the fast was aimed to highlight on the failure of N Rangasamy led Congress Government in the Union territory.

Alleging that the government had failed to fullfill the promises given to the people during the elections in May last year, he said the government was unable to implement perspective plans to address the grievances of the people.
