125 kg opium seized in Rajasthan
Chittorgarh, Aug 18 (UNI) Narcotics Control Bureau today seized 125 kg illegal opium and arrested two people who were apparently smuggling the drugs via the Nimbhaheda Udaipur road.
Bureau officers barricaded the toll check post on Nimbhaheda-Udaipur state highway today morning and conducted a search on a trawler. The search revealed a 125 kg opium in the trawler and the police arrested Jodhpur residents Gangaram and Rajkumar Bishnoi from the spot.
Bureau spokesman Pradeep Sharma said the opium was hidden in boxes under the chasis of the trawler. He said the opium collected from Nimbaheda was being smuggled to Jodhpur.
