Vigilance submits chargesheet aganist an IAS officer and eight other

Patna, Aug 17 (UNI) Bihar State Vigilance Burau today submitted a chargesheet against nine people, including an IAS officer, in a corruption case.

The bureau submitted the chargesheet in the court of special vigilance judge of Patna S K Panwar under the various sections of Indian Penal Code and Prevention of Corruption Act.

Among those charge sheeted in connection with this case are--Former Managing Director of Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation S K Sinha(IAS), Former Manager(finance) M Chandra, Deputy General Manager(finance and account) Navin Kumar and Senior Manager Sati Prasad.

The case was related to illegal appointment of daily wages workers in the corporation.A case in this connection was registered with vigilance police station in 1994.
