Property worth lakhs gutted in glass factory fire

Ferozabad, Aug 17 (UNI) Fire swept a glass factory here, gutting property estimated at several lakhs of rupees.

No casuality, however, was reported.

Fire tenders from Agra, Tundla and Shikohabad could extinguish the blaze only after an eight-hour long rescue operation at the Naveen Glass Factory late last night.

The reason behind the flames, however, remained unknown, police said.

Meanwhile, investigations continued.
