PDP to accord public reception for Maudhany

Kozhikode, Aug 17 (UNI) The People's Democratic Party (PDP) today said it would accord a reception for its Chairman Abdul Nasser Maudhany here on August 21.

Hundreds of people from the Malabar region were expected to attend the meet, to be presided over by Kozhikode Mayor M Bhaskaran, PDP General Secretary Gafoor Puthuppady told reporters here.

Besides, Ministers and law makers from the State were also expected to gather here to greet Mr Maudhany, released recently from the Coimbatore Central Prison after nine years of incarceration in connection with the Coimbatore serial bomb blasts case, he added.
