Passenger with two fake passports held at Chennai airport

Chennai, Aug 17 (UNI) Immigration authorities at the Anna International Airport today arrested a passenger, aftr finding he was carrying two fake passports, early today.

Airport officials said Thameem Ansari (30), hailing from Ramanathapuram district in Tamil Nadu, was intercepted at the immigration clearance point when he was about to board a Colombo bound flight.

During inspection, it was found that Ansari was carrying two fake passports, the officials said, adding the traveller was handed over to the Central Crime Branch (CCB).
