Bangalore, Aug 17: Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly N Dharam Singh today said that the transfer of power between the coalition partners Janata Dal (Secular) and Bharatiya Janata Party may not be a smooth affair, anything could happen and even President rule might also be imposed.

Talking to newsmen here, he said that " all is not well between the two coalition parties, there is a lot of confusion and differences of opinion and they have been misleading the people on the issue of transfer of power on October three as per agreement reached before forming the government.

Stating that there are several options left to overcome the present political situation, Mr Singh reiterated that discontented legislators of both JD(S) and BJP are likely to come out and help Congress to form the government on its own. However, the final decision to form Congress government was left to the party high command, he added.
