Bhopal, Aug 17 (UNI) Author and scriptwriter Anchala Nagar feels that sensitivity of a litterateur becomes an obstacle for his success as a film writer.

Dr Nagar, who is daughter of noted litterateur late Amritlal Nagar, said her father tried his luck in film industry but failed.

Several other authors did not achieve much success.

''A sensitive heart is behind their failure, as it could not match with the business mindset of film industry,'' he said.

Dr Nagar, who has been associated with writing of script of successful films such as 'Bagban', said her father used to tell that she had entered the film industry but it was difficult to extract remuneration from film producers.

She said she regarded renowned film director B R Chopra as her foster father and considered herself lucky for getting an opportunity for writing script for films based on burning social issues.

Regarding 'Sas-bahu' theme serials being aired on various television channels, she said it was part of continuous process of change.

Dr Nagar said presence of negative female characters did not send good message in society because films affected psyche of people just as films did.
