HP govt to restore water supply in affected areas

Shimla, Aug 17 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Irrigation and Public Health (IPH) Minister kaul Singh Thakur today assured the people of the state of restoring the water supply in the affected areas.

In a meeting of the officers of IPH Department and MC Shimla here today, Mr Thakur directed the officers of IPH department to restore all the water supply schemes in the state, which has been affected due to cloudburst, heavy rains and land slides in various parts of the state.

The Minister added that water supply to Shimla town has already been restored.
