CPI to support JMM candidate in Jamshedpur bypoll

Ranchi, Aug 17 (UNI) The CPI in Jharkhand today said that it would extend its support to the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidate Suman Mahto, the wife of slain MP Sunil Mahto, in the bypoll slated on August 29.

According to a party release issued here today decision to support JMM's candidate was taken in order to keep the secular forces in.

The CPI(M) had already announced its support to Ms Mahto.

Other candidates in the fray in the bypoll for Jamshedpur bypoll include Dinesh Kumar Sarangi from BJP and Bikas Mukherjee from JVM(D).
