BVS stages demonstration against Shamrao Vitthal Bank

Kolhapur, Aug 17 (UNI) Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Sena (BVS) activists today staged a demonstration in front of the Shamrao Vitthal Bank here against the Bank's ''unjust treatment to its employees who have been transferred from the Mahaveer Cooperative Bank''.

The Mahaveer Cooperative Bank was merged with the Shamrao Vitthal Bank on September 4, 2006.

After the merger, the Bank management has resorted to harassing the erstwhile staff of Mahaveer Bank by transferring them to other cities despite an agreement that the staff should be transferred for at least three years, the BVS has said.
