Bishnoi to announce new party on Dec 2 Rohtak rally

Hisar, Aug 17 (UNI) Suspended Congress MP Kuldip Bishnoi today declared that the name and programme of his new party would be announced on December 2.

''We are going to announce the name and programme of our new party at Janhit rally on December 2 and I can safely say that we will form the next government without seeking support of any other party,'' he said while talking to newspersons here after addressing a meeting of supporters.

''We have no time for Sonia or her Congress. Last mandate was in favour of Chaudhary Bhajan Lal but she did injustice to him,'' he said.

Claiming that he was receiving great response from the people, Mr Bishnoi asserted that the Haryana government was a 'flop show' and asserted that the Rohtak rally would ''create a new record''.

He said adding that their successful rallies had caused a flutter in the Congress party and left party General Secretary Janardan Dviwedi a ''worried man''.

The supporters of Mr Bishnoi, including several former MLAs, ex-ministers and two ex-MPs, thronged his residence in thousands today from all over Haryana and a programme was chalked out to make the rally a grand success.

Mr Bishnoi declared that he and his supporters would celebrate the birthday of late Chaudahry Bansi Lal on August 26 at Dadri and the birthday of Chaudhary Bhajan Lal will be celebrated on October 26 as Janhit Divas.

He said district-level public meetings will be held till October 17 after which meetings will be organised in big villages to garner support for the Janhit rally. 'I hope this will be the biggest ever rally in the state,'' he added.

''We are organising the party purely on democratic basis and next Chief Minister will be as per the choice of the masses and elected legislators,'' Mr Bishnoi said.

On this occasion MLA Rakesh Kamboj, Ramji Lal and Jangbir Singh ex-MPs, Dharam Pal Malik, MLA and former HPCC chief, Satpal Sangwan, Mani Ram Keharwala, Lahiri Singh, Krishan Murti Hooda and Subhash Batra, ex-legislators and former ministers were present.
