Ashok Rampal takes over as Alkem president

Mumbai, Aug 17 (UNI) Alkem Laboratories today appointed Mr Ashok Rampal, former vice president of Ranbaxy (Research), as its president (R&D).

Mr Rampal, who has more than three decades experience in pharmaceutical research&development, has to his credit development of numerous drug delivery platforms and patentable process innovations, said a release today.

Rampal has been associated with many generic product filings and is inventor in more than 75 patent applications.
