A marshal of Air Deccan arrested, Delhi flight delayed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 17 (UNI) A marshal of Air Deccan, in which Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad was onboard, was arrested by police at Srinagar airport for allegedly misbehaving with some girl passengers.

Official sources said a marshal in the Air Deccan plane misbehaved with some girl passengers at Srinagar airport this afternoon.

The girls and other passengers immediately informed Mr Azad, who was in the same plane, about the incident.

The minister immediately ordered the marshal's arrest, the sources said, adding that the marshal was later taken into custody by airport police.

However, the pilot refused to fly the plan without marshal.

Later the plane took off after getting permission from Delhi to fly without the marshal.
