3 persons killed and 12 injured in Kashmir accident

Srinagar, Aug 17 (UNI) At least three people were killed and twelve others wounded when a vehicle in which they were travelling overturned at Zakura near Hazratbal Shrine this evening.

Official sources said an overladen vehicle carrying devotees from Hazratbal to Ganderbal turned turtle at Zakura injuring 15 people.

The injured were immediately rushed to hospital by the CRPF personnel posted in the nearby camp.

Three of the injured died on their way to hospital, the sources said, adding that condition of the two of them was reported to be critical.
