Woman, 2 kids killed in suicide pact

Surat, Aug 16: In a suicide pact, a woman and her two children were killed after consuming poison at Katargam near here.

The woman's husband Rajesh Dhiru Vagashia, a worker in a diamond unit, is battling for life in a city hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Chetna and her two children Ayush (5) and Henil (3).

It is yet to be ascertained as to what drove the family to take the extreme step, police said.
