Tourism in naxal-infested areas

Jharkhand, Aug 16: Jharkhand state is promoting tourism in itsnaxal-infested areas by involving locals in its development. The stateadministration has opened up tourist spots in the rural areas ofDhanbad district and handed it over to local people to manage thefacilities to attract visitors.

The district, with hills, forest andwaterfall, is infamous as den of Naxalities and with the fall ofevening nobody dares to venture out.
