Three killed, three injured as house caves-in

Samastipur, Aug 16 (UNI) Altogether three people, including a child, were killed and as many injured when houses caved in at separate places here today.

Police said a 63-year old woman was buried alive when her house caved in following heavy rain at Shivesingpur village under Moiuddinagar police station, while an 80-year old man died in a similar incident at Andaur village under the same police station.

In another incident, a four-year old child lost her life when a portion of a house collapsed at Panchupur locality under Rosera police station.

Three members of the family also sustained injuries in the incident.
