Silver software to expand India Development centre
Bangalore, Aug 16 (UNI) Silver Software, a leading provider of Software and Safety Engineering services for High Integrity Systems, today announced the expansion of its India development centre (IDC) and plans to hire nearly 500 people over the next three years.
Operating in aviation, railways and telecom verticals,the company currently had a staff of 280 at its IDC here with the state-of-the-art facility spread over 50,000 sq ft and having a capacity of 600. It would initially house 130 people in addition to 280 who work out of the centre, a release from the Company said.
Silver Software, which currently has nearly 400 employees worldwide is moving forward with the expansion to accommodate the rapidly growing demand for safety-critical solutions both in the Indian and global market. Bangalore accounts for two third of the staff worldwide and shall continue to support the company's growth.
Silver Software was also looking for partners to support its foray into new sectors such as the medical device and automotive sector.

India continues to be a strong market specifically with regard to the aerospace market. We are also currently looking at increasing our focus on areas such as railway signaling and telecommunications and entering new domains such as medical devices and automotive'' said Parminder Singh, CEO, Silver Software in the release.
