Second Annual Forum of FNS from tomorrow

Hyderabad, Aug 16 (UNI) The Second Annual Forum of the Food and Nutritional Security (FNS) Community will be held at the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) here from August 17 to 19.

According to NIN release here today, over 100 participants were expected to attend the three-day workshop.

During the programme, FNS members would discuss emerging nutrition and food security issues, and look for opportunities to move forward in these areas, it said.

''The forum will provide an opportunity to connect people to people, knowledge to people, tacit knowledge to explicit knowledge, and knowledge to action,'' Gopi N Ghosh, who anchors the FNS Community, said in the release.

Community members, NIN faculty and students would participate technical sessions on 'Critical Food and Nutrition Security Concerns,' the release added.
