Rupee opens at 41.06/08 per USD

Mumbai, Aug 16: The Rupee today further slided by about 32 paise and opened weaker at Rs 41.06/08 against US dollar from the previous close of 40.75 per dollar.

During the early sessions the market was extremely voletile and the local currency touched the low of 41.20 per dollar, and high of 41.03 against the American Greenback during the intra-day trade, dealers said.
