Medico commits suicide

Kanpur, Aug 16 (UNI) A junior doctor committed suicide at the Kanpur Medical College's hostel here today.

Ram Gopal -- junior doctor at the Kanpur Medical College in Swaroop Nagar -- ended life by hanging self inside the Sriram hostel room.

According to police, Ram was suffering from severe depression for long, which prima facie, was ascertained as the reason behind his extreme step.

The body has been sent for an autopsy and investigations continued.
