New Delhi, Aug 16: Lok Sabha was today adjourned till 1130 hrs amid din created by the Opposition, which charged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh with having misled the House on the Indo-US nuclear deal.

As soon as Speaker Somnath Chatterjee entered the House, Opposition leaders, including BJP floor leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra, stood up and demanded taking up of their notice on the issue.

The Speaker said he would take it up after question hour. But the Opposition did not agree and kept shouting, demanding the House take up their notice which alleged that Dr Singh, during his suo motu statement on the nuke deal in the House on August 13, had misled it.

The Speaker's pleas that he had not received any notice for suspension of the question hour did not cut ice with the Opposition which continued to create ruckus.

Mr Chatterjee attempted to calm the shouting members by asking what image it would project about India before the visiting President of German Parliament who was earlier welcomed by the Speaker to the special box of the House. But it did not deter the members from continuing the commotion.

An angry Speaker said '' I am ashamed of you...you do not have any sense of responsibility...you are not cooperating...'', and adjourned the House for half an hour till 1130 hrs.
