Heavy downpour,waterlogging throws life out of gear in Bihar
Patna, Aug 16 (UNI) Following torrential rainfalls and heavy water logging since last three days, normal life in Bihar, including the state capital, was thrown out of gear.
Almost all part of the state capital was waterlogged and foul smell was emanating all around due to filth and garbages floating in the water.
Meanwhile, District Magistrate B Rajendra told UNI here that all government and private schools were closed till Friday following incessant rain and waterlogging. Similar orders were also issued by the District Magistrate of Samastipur.
Meanwhile, Met office sources said here that day's maximum temperature was recorded at 29.4 degree celsius and the minimum at 26 degrees Celsius,while the maximum relative humidity pegged at 50 per cent.
It also forecasts a cloudy sky during the next 24 hours with possibility of moderate to heavy rain in different parts of the state.
