Five policemen injured in attack by criminals

Badwani, MP, Aug 16 (UNI) Five police officials were injured in an attack by two criminals last night at village Khariya under Varla police station area of this district, police said today.

A police team comprising an Assistant Sub-Inspector, a Head Constable and three Constables visited the village yesterday to arrest criminals Sanjay Singh and Kunwar Singh on a complaint by a woman that they had attempted to outrage her modesty.

Both forced their entry into her house and attempted to molest her, but she managed to escape from their clutches, she said in a police complaint.

Sub-Divisional Officer (Police) N S Jadon said the criminals, had been arrested by the same team late last night.
