Deora calls for cooperation in oil, gas sector with Kyrgyztan
New Delhi, Aug 16 (UNI) Petroleum Minsiter Murli Deora has expressed India's strong desire to explore possibilities of cooperation in oil and gas sector with Kyrgyztan.
''We would consider requests for adding new areas of studies including in the oil and gas sector,'' Mr Deora said after having wide range of discussions with the President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiev yesterday.
Mr Deora is leading an Indian delegation to participate as observer at the meeting of the Council of the heads of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) at Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan.
Earlier, the Minister inaugurated the Indo-Kyrgyz IT Centre at Bishkek.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Deora said, ''Indian skills and capacity in the IT are now globally acknowledged.'' UNI
