CPI alleges discrepancy in GRS appointment in Hazaribagh

Hazaribagh, Aug 16 (UNI) Accusing the district administration of making discrepancies in appointment of ''Gram Rozgar Sevaks'' (GRS), the CPI today said it would oppose the state government's movement of distributing appointment letters to them.

Party's state secretary Bhuneswar Mahto, MP, who along with party workers sat on a dharna during the day to demand an inquiry of the matter said appointment process was done in a hasty manner and number of eligible candidates failed to appear before the district administration for verification of their papers.

Mr Mahto said appointment process should begin after inquiry of the entire matter otherwise the party would protest the programme in which Chief Minister Madhu Koda would distribute appointment letters to the GRS on August 18.
