Committee set up to address pollution-related issues in Baddi

Shimla, Aug 16 (UNI) The state government has set up a committee for addressing various pollution-related issues in Baddi-Barotiwala Nalagarh area of Solan District.

Member Secretary, Himachal Pollution Control Board would be the member-convenor of the committee.

Director Environment, Deputy Commissioner, Solan, Chief Exeuctive Officer, BBNDA and General Manager DIC, Solan would be the members of the committee.

The committee would visit the entire Baddi and Barotiwala Nalagarh area to assess the extent of pollution, analyse various potential sources of pollution and suggest remedial measures to check the menace in the area.

The committee shall submit its report within one month.
