Combined Defence Services Exam. results declared
New Delhi, Aug 16 (UNI) A total of 361 candidates have qualified for admission to the Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) for the 86th Short Service Commission (SSC) Course on the basis of the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination-II, 2006.
The 86th SSC course is to commence in October, said the Union Public Service Commission, which announced the results today.
The written examination and interviews were held by the Services Selection Board of the Defence Ministry.

The list also includes the names of the candidates who were recommended earlier on the basis of results of the same examination for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, the Naval Academy Goa, and the Air Force Station, Begumpet (Hyderabad).
The number of vacancies for Short Service Commission course is 163.
