Civilian snatches weapons from militant in Doda

Jammu, Aug 16 (UNI) In a rare incident, a civilian snatched a pouch carrying arms and ammunition from a militant who was threatening and asking for a goat at Batote in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said here this evening.

A militant entered the house of Shadilal at Gadhori under Batote police station last night and asked him to give a goat, the army spokesperson said, adding Shadilal refused to give his goat and snatched the pouch of the militant.

A police officer said Shadilal handed over the arms and ammunition to Batote police station this morning.
