Cabinet clears \$ 100 b Delhi-Mumbai freight corridor project

New Delhi, Aug 16 (UNI) The Cabinet today cleared the 90-100 billion dollar Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) project to be implemented with Japan's cooperation, a week ahead of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's visit to India.

The project had been announced during Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit to Japan in December last year.
