Birla Science Centre invites application for award

Hyderabad, Aug 16 (UNI) B M Birla Science Centre has invited nominations for the B M Birla Science Prize in Chemistry and Biology for the year 2006.

A cash prize of Rs one lakh each for Chemistry and Biology would be presented for the outstanding original contributions by an Indian scientist residing in India, who was not more than 40 years of age as on December 31, 2006, a press release said.
