Bengal and Tripura CM to attend polit bureau meeting on Indo-US deal

Kolkata, Aug 16 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and West Bengal state General Secretary Biman Basu today left for New Delhi to attend the CPI(M) polit bureau meeting.

Official sources here said that the main agenda of the meeting to be held tomorrow was Indo-US Nuke deal. The meeting will discuss the issue with the Centre and try to arrive at a workable plan.

Sources in the West Bengal chief minister's office said that Mr Bhattacharjee would also be meeting Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh tomorrow to discuss the state of industrialisation in states like West Bengal.
