Bangladeshis caught while trying to exfiltrate to Pak
Jammu, Aug 16 (UNI) Border Security Force (BSF) troops today arrested eight Bangladeshi nationals, including two women and a five year-old female child, while trying to exfiltrate to Pakistan from Akhnoor.
Alert BSF troops took them into custody around 0330 hours today when they were trying to cross the International border of Pakistan from this side via Mala Bela post in Akhnoor sectors, a BSF spokes persons told UNI.
After observing some movement at the border the BSF troops investigated and came across the eight people, who were very close to the border, he said.
Around Rs 2000 had been recovered from their possession, and all of them identified themselves as Bangladesh residents. After preliminary questioning, they were handed over to police for further investigation, the officials said.
