A two-day Gaganchukki Utsav from August 25

Mandya, Aug 16 (UNI) After success of 'Jalapath Utsava' (Festival of Waterfalls) held recently, the Mandya District Administration has geared up to hold a two-day 'Gangavatarana Utsava' at Gaganachukki Falls, Shivanasamudra from August 25.

Talking to newsmen here today, Mandya District in-charge Minister Cheluvarayaswamy said that the Utsav would help in attracting more tourists. Rs five crore has been released to the District for providing better infrastructure and the Administration has already identified 15 importnat tourist spots for improving facilities.
