Schools in Patna will be closed for two days due to rain

Patna, Aug 15 (UNI) The Patna district administration has ordered closure of all schools in the capital city here for the next two days following water-logging in several localities because of incessant rain during the past 72 hours.

Patna District Magistrate B Rajendra said here tonight that necessary instructions had been issued to all government and private schools in the city in this connection.

''A decision to this effect has been taken keeping in mind that most of the roads in Patna city are inundated in knee to chest deep water following continuous rain,'' Mr Rajendra added.
