Puducherry CM unfurls tricolour; inspects Guard of Honour

Puducherry, Aug 15 (UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today unfurled the tricolour at the Indira Gandhi sports complex here on the occasion of 61st Independence day celebrations in the Union Territory.

The Chief Minister inspected a guard of honour presented by the Puducherry armed police. This was followed by march pass by various contigents of Police, Home Guards, NCC, Students, Scouts and Guides.

Cultural programmes were organised on the occasion.
