Governor hosts reception on I-Day

Hyderabad, Aug 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor Rameshwar Thakur today hosted a reception at Raj Bhavan to mark 60 years of Indian Independence.

Chief Minister Y S Rajasekahra Reddy, his Cabinet colleagues, Assembly Speaker K R Suresh Reddy, Legislative Council Chairman Chakrapani, XII Finance Commission Chairman C Rangarajan, State BJP President B Dattatraya and top officials attended.

The Left and Telugu Desam Party leaders staged a boycott.
