Ford reaches deal to sell parts unit to Linamar
DETROIT, Aug 15 (Reuters) Ford Motor Co. said on Wednesday it has reached a deal to sell a parts business and a related manufacturing facility it took back from former subsidiary Visteon Corp..
Ford said it signed definitive agreements with auto supplier Linamar Corp. for the sale of its Power Transfer Unit business and its Converca I plant in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.
The sales transaction is expected to be completed on Sept.
1. Terms were not disclosed.
