ENC's FOC-in-C takes salute, ceremonial parade held

Visakhapatnam, Aug 15 (UNI) Eastern Naval Command's Flag officer Commanding in-Chief Vice Admiral Raman Prem Suthan took salute and witnessed a ceremonial parade on the occasion of Independence Day.

Speaking on occasion, he said his aim was to make the ENC into a ''happy and fighting fit command.'' Stressing the importance of upgradation of infrastructure through effective management, he said soon 'Jalashwa, Kesari and Airavat' vessels would join the command.

Vice-Admiral Suthan also presented cash awards to 33 naval personnel and civilian employees attached to the ENC in recognition of their professional creativity and contribution towards operational efficiency in the Naval units.
