Eight Haryana Police personnel awarded Police Medals

Chandigarh, Aug 15 (UNI) Eight Police personnel of Haryana have been awarded the prestigious 'Police Medals' by the President of India Pratibha Patil on the 61st Independence day for rendering meritorious service.

Giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that the awardees include Deputy Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar, Sub-inspector Jaivir Singh, Sub-inspector Lekh Ram, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Sajjan Singh, ASI Rajinder Kumar, ASI Sohan Lal, ASI Raghubir Singh and Head Constable Satbir Singh.
