12 family members injured as bus overturns

Varanasi, Aug 15 (UNI) At least 12 members of a family from Varanasi, including four children, were injured in a road accident in the neighbouing Mirzapur district today.

The incident took place when the MUV in which they were travelling turned turtle near Hanuman Pahari under the Ahraura police station area of Mirzapur, police said.

All the wounded have been admitted to the Varanasi district hospital, where this condition of three was stated to be serious.

The family of 14 members, hailing from Daranagar (Varanasi), was returning in the vehicle from the neighbouring Sonebhadra district after paying obeisance at the New Vaishno Devi temple in Chopan.
