"10 km walk" to promote blood donation

Vijayawada, Aug 15 (UNI) A city-based NGO today organised a "10 km walk" to highlight the importance of blood donation here.

The walk was flagged off by City Mayor Mallika Begum.

The organisation had arranged similar walks at Hyderabad and Guntur last year.

The organisation had launched a website 'www.friends2support.org' to assist the patients.
