Youth sentenced to 7 yrs RI on rape charges

Anand, Gujarat, Aug 14 (UNI) A fast tract court here today sentenced a 22-year-old youth to suffer seven years rigorous imprisonment holding him guilty of raping a minor girl four years back.

Judge C P Chaudhary while sentencing Mafatdhula Waghari, also slapped a fine of Rs 200 or face an additional one month's imprisonment.

According to the prosecution case, Waghari had, on February 20, 2003, raped a 14-year-old girl.
