VHP alleges bias against Hindus

Mumbai, Aug 14 (UNI) Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) joint general secretary Venkatesh Abdeo today alleged that the majority community is getting a biased treatment under the name of creation of 'Setusamudram' project, whereby the ancient Ramsetu will be disturbed.

Mr Abdeo, in a release issued here, alleged that all efforts were being done to save Mughal-era monuments like Qutub Minar and Taj Mahal but no such enthusiasm is being shown for the ancient Ramsetu.

''The government is hatching a conspiracy to destroy the Ramsetu,'' he added.

VHP has also organised a programme here against the Setusamudram Project.
