UGDP expels Monserrate for supporting Kamat government

Panaji, Aug 14 (UNI) The United Goans Democratic Party (UGDP) has expelled its lone legislator Atanasio (Babush) Monserrate for supporting the Congress-led Digambar Kamat government without the approval of the party leadership.

''We will inform the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly about the decision in a few days so that Babush will be treated as 'unattached member' of the House forthwith,'' the party's acting president Radharao Gracius told UNI
