Three youth arrested in connection with rape of teenager

Gadag, Karnataka, Aug 14 (UNI) Police have arrested three youths in connection with an alleged rape of a 15-year-old girl reported from this district last week.

According to police, Shrikant Talikoti persuaded the girl to accompany him to a temple, where she was going, and allegedly raped her. When the shocked girl fell ill, he brought the girl to her home with the help of his two of his friends.

The accused as well as his two friends arrested last night, police said.

The teenager had been shifted to Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences here for treatment.
