Sudha Chobe joins as Financial Commissioner

New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) Mrs Sudha Chobe, a 1971 batch officer of the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS), has taken over as Financial Commissioner, Railway Board.

Prior to joining the Railway Board, she was General Manager, Metro Railway, Kolkata.

Mrs Chobe had earlier worked as General Manager, Rail Wheel Factory, Bangalore. She also served as Financial Adviser&Chief Accounts Officer (FA&CAO) in different Zonal Railways, including the Western, North Eastern, Central, Northeast and North Western Railways.

She had undergone training on Mechanised Maintenance of Track under World Scheme in the US and Sweden in 1993. She also participated in Advance Leadership Programme held in Stern School of Business, New York in 2006.
