State-level Teej Festival at Haryana Raj Bhawan

Chandigarh, August 14 (UNI) A state-level 'Teej festival' would be held at Haryana Raj Bhawan here on August 16.

An official spokesman said Haryana Governor A R Kidwai would be the Chief Guest on the occasion. A cultural programme projecting the Haryanavi culture in particular and culture of India in general would also be presented by the Haryana Kala Parishad.

He said that colourful swings, stalls of mehandi and bengles for the women participant would also be put up on this occasion.

He said that about 100 artistes would participate in this programme. The Chief Guest would give the mementos to all the participant artistes.
