Real estate exhibition in US, Canada from Aug 18

Mumbai, Aug 14 (UNI) ''India Property 2007'', an exhibition on real estate and allied industries, will be held in the US and Canada from August 18.

The exhibition is jointly organized by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) and the Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI), a press release here today said.

''There are around 32 lakh Indians residing in the USA and over a lakh in Canada, who have excelled in every sphere of business but are still emotionally bonded to India. Thus, having a property back home in India will rekindle and strengthen that link to their homeland,'' MCHI International Exhibitions Chairman Nainesh Shah said in the release.

''These property shows facilitate an interaction between the NRIs, realty investors and developers, all under one roof,'', CREDAI president Rajni S Ajmera said in the release.

The exhibition will be held at Santa Clara and New Jersey in the US, and Toronto in Canada.
